The Asian Muslim Action Network (AMAN), with the support of Rockefeller Foundation is pleased to announce the sixth round of Research Fellowship program for young Muslim scholar in Southeast Asia.

Themes of this round are :
- Popular Islam
- Globalisation and Identity Politics
- Islam and Changing gender reality
- Islamic values. economic activities and social responsibilities

Candidate must be from countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Phillipines and women are strongly encouraged to apply. Proposal in the field of Islamic values, economic activities and social responsibilities will be given priority for this round.

Religious & Development Research Programme (DFID-funded)
This is an international research partnership (joint appointment between the University and the policy and research unit of Islamic Relief) that is exploring the relationships among several major world religions, development in low-income countries and poverty reduction. Applicant will be an employee of IR but will split his/her time between the two organisations. Applicant must hold a relevant master’s degree with strong preference for a completed PhD and have social science research experience in developing countries. Applicant should also be sympathetic to Islamic humanitarian values.
